Submission Site and Details
We invite submissions of original ongoing research focused on participatory approaches for public sector AI. Submissions should broadly align with one or more of the workshop themes of awareness, access, ability, alignment, and accessibility in public sector AI.
Submission Format
- Length: Submissions must be at most 5,000 words. There is no page limit.
- Categories: We accept three types of submissions:
- Work-in-progress papers These submissions can present initial research findings or innovative ideas that are in the early stages of development. They should high- light the next steps for further research.
- Position papers hese can consist of literature re- views that reveal systematic shortcomings in the way re- searchers have been thinking about community-engaged AI. They can also propose new RAI solutions for the pub- lic sector, with or without (light) evaluations.
- Artifact papers These could be in the form of soft- ware, prototypes, pictorials, etc. The artifacts must be de- scribed in an accompanying short paper.
- Formatting: Authors should prepare their submissions using the AAAI submission templates, available in both LaTeX/Overleaf and Word formats, with LaTeX users encouraged to utilize Overleaf for convenient collaboration. More guidelines can be found here. Submissions should be in accessible PDF format.

Appendix Submission
- Consistenyly formatted appendix of any length can be added at the end of the main paper.
